Todd C. Miles, 52, of Northrop received a stay of adjudication on a charge of unlawful ouster or exclusion by landlord; fined $80, six months unsupervised probation, pay costs, no misdemeanor violations.
Drew R. Ferguson, 22, of Faribault was convicted of giving peace officer false name and date of birth of another person; fined $880, sentenced to jail 365 days, stayed 335 days for two years, may do electronic home monitoring in Rice Co. to be in place 9-2-14, two years unsupervised probation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, no misdemeanor violations. Also convicted of speeding on interstate; fees can be waived if payment has been received in another case. Additional charge of driving after cancellation was dismissed.
Anthony B. McAllister, 45, of Fairmont was convicted on a felony charge of third-degree burglary-commit felony or gross misdemeanor; fined $4,981.87, restitution $4,981.87, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 25 months, supply DNA sample, restitution reserved to Dunham’s to be determined or filed by County Attorney. Also convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not marijuana; fined $100, commit to Commissioner of Corrections 24 months, concurrent with another case, supply DNA sample. Also convicted of domestic assault-intentionally attempt to inflict bodily harm on another; sentenced to jail 90 days. Three additional felony charges of first-degree damage to property, second-degree burglary of building-possess tool, domestic assault-by strangulation, and two misdemeanor charges of fifth-degree assault-attempt bodily harm, and theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent, were all dismissed.
