Charged with third-degree driving while impaired, refusal to test – Robert B. Olson, 52, of Fairmont.
John A. Morgan, 52, of Onalaska, Wis., was convicted of speeding; fined $120. Additional charge of no proof of motor vehicle insurance was dismissed.
Devlin A. Tino, 27, of Fairmont was convicted of possession of small amount of marijuana in motor vehicle; fined $130. Also convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia; fined $50.
Charles E. Bettin, 30, of Fairmont was convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol; fined $680, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 90 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, no misdemeanor violations, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, attend MADD impact panel, complete chemical assessment, follow recommendations of evaluation. Additional charge of refuse to submit to chemical test was dismissed.
Joseph D. Bulfer, 33, of Fairmont received an amended court decision on a felony charge of domestic assault by strangulation; sentenced to jail six months, no contact with victim(s), complete men’s domestic violence program. Also received an amended court decision on a felony charge of first-degree burglary-occupied dwelling-non accomplice present; sentenced to jail six months, no contact with victim(s), complete men’s domestic violence program.
Moises Santos, 34, of Fairmont was convicted of driving without a valid drivers license or vehicle class/type; fined $180. Also convicted of speeding; fined $60. Additional charge of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle was dismissed.
