Fairmont High School class of 1964 and guests will meet for lunch 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Pizza Ranch in Fairmont.

Fairmont High School class of 1947 will meet for lunch 1 p.m. Friday at Jake’s Pizza, Fairmont.

Borderline Cruisers slate roll-in event

There will be a roll-in sponsored by the Borderline Cruisers Car Club from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Fleet and Farm in Fairmont. Pork patties from the Pork Producers will be available. There is a chance to win a Dewalt 6-pack.

Family reunion slated for Saturday

Koenck family reunion will be held noon Saturday at Gomsrud Park in Fairmont. All family members are encouraged to attend.

Dog park group seeking support

Fairmont Area Dog Park committee members and supporters will walk in the Truman Days parade with their dogs on Saturday. Donations will be accepted along the parade route for the Dollars for Dogs campaign. Support is needed for the goal of building a dog park in Fairmont. Ceylon Legion to hold fish fry

Ceylon American Legion and Legion Auxiliary will hold a fish fry from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ceylon Legion Post Home. The cost is $9 for adults, $4 for children, and includes fish, sides, beverage and bars. Take-outs are available. Proceeds will benefit Ceylon Legion Post 529. Everyone is welcome.

Sherburn church sponsors upcoming lunch

The Women’s Fellowship Group from the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Sherburn will sponsor a hot turkey sandwich/salads luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the church in Sherburn. This will be a free-will offering with a suggested donation of $6. The church is air-conditioned. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Rose Lake plans Sunday tournament

There will be a couples golf tournament on Sunday at Rose Lake Golf Club, east of Fairmont. The format will be 6-6-6. Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m.; golfing will get under way with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $50 per couple and includes skins. A burger bar will be available.
