Driving without valid driver’s license or vehicle class/type – Jose D. Gonzalez-Perez, 26, of Sioux City, Iowa; fined $180.


Bobbi J. Murray, 27, of Ceylon was convicted of theft-take/use/transfer movable property without consent; one year unsupervised probation, no misdemeanor violations.

Charles D. Sadler, 25, of Paulina, Iowa was convicted of speeding; fined $380, sentenced to jail 90 days, stayed 88 days for one year, one year unsupervised probation, pay costs, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law.

Rudy Guerrero, 29, of Stickney, Ill. was convicted of speeding; fined $580, sentenced to jail 30 days, stayed 30 days for six months, six months unsupervised probation, no same or similar, pay costs, no misdemeanor violations.

Jay R. Arnold, 32, of Sherburn was convicted on a felony charge of fifth-degree controlled substance possession-not small amount of marijuana; commit to Commissioner of Corrections 13 months, stayed for 10 years, sentenced to jail 98 days, credit for time served 98 days, 10 years supervised probation, participate in drug court and successfully complete program, obtain employment, maintain employment, do not use or possess firearms, notify parole agent or court before changing employment or leaving the state, chemical dependency evaluation/treatment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol/controlled substance use, random testing, remain law abiding, no misdemeanor or greater violations of the law, follow all instructions of probation. Additional charge of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed.

Jaime A. Gonzalez, 20, of Lakota, Iowa was convicted of uninsured vehicle-owner violation; fined $200. Also convicted of failure of driver to carry proof of insurance when operating a vehicle; fined $200. Also convicted of driving without valid drivers license or vehicle class/type; fined $180.
