Thanks to the Sherburn Lions Club for all its work this past weekend during the Sherburn Holiday Festival.

Also, thanks to the Sherburn Fire Department for the delicious chicken feed, and to the many volunteers who helped make the festival a success.

Lots of cleanup needed to happen after last week’s storm in Sherburn, and somehow it seemed to get done before the Holiday Festival time. Thanks to the many people who made that happen.

I’m convinced that God sends us storms (of one kind or another) just so we can find out what wonderful neighbors we have. Thanks to all the kind neighbors.
