Ceylon Legion offers shrimp dinner June 29

CEYLON – The “Coffee Lovers” group meets 8:30-10 a.m. each Thursday at the Ceylon Legion.

Area men and women are encouraged to join them for good brew and good fellowship.


Parker Leiding, son of Cody and Nicole Leiding from Ceylon, was chosen as the Boys State candidate from the Ceylon Legion. He will attend Boys State from June 15-21 at Southwest State University in Marshall.

He is a junior at Martin County West High School in Sherburn.

Congratulations Parker and have fun at Boys State.


There will be an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Martin Luther High School in Northrop.

A luncheon of grilled pork patties, chips and watermelon will be served. A free will donation is suggested.

Guests will be able to walk on the new gym floor and see all the upgrades done to the school facilities.


There will be a grilled pork chop dinner to raise funds for the support of the educational ministry from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 22 at Martin Luther High School in Northrop.
