Hoping things improve

To the Editor:

I’m in total agreement with Dr. R.N. and Janet Lepird, who wrote a letter to the editor as to the condition of the grounds at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. I too have loved ones buried there and am very disappointed whenever I visit their grave sites.

This past Memorial Day weekend, I found fresh dirt on the graves of my mother-in-law and father-in-law AND a huge tire track right through the middle of both graves and a spillover of dirt on both grave markers. I considered that to be very disrespectful.

In the future, I hope the caretaker will take our concerns to heart and improve the grounds at the Fairview cemetery and make it a beautiful place to visit.
