Paul S. Tarrant
TRUMAN – Graveside services for Paul S. Tarrant, 92, of Truman, Minn., will be held at a later date at Pioneer Cemetery, Renner, S.D.
Paul passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.
Cremation Society of Minnesota is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Paul Stanley Tarrant was born Jan. 12, 1922, in Chester, S.C., the son of John Tarrant and Almena Bland. The family moved to Pittsburgh, Pa., while he was a child and resided there through his youth. He entered the U.S. Army in October of 1942. He met and married Cleo Cora Miller while receiving his military training in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Survivors include: his children, Linda K. Huse and husband, George of Sherburn, Minn., Carla J. Tarrant of Eden Valley, Minn., Mark P. Tarrant of Truman, Minn., and Alan G. Tarrant and wife, Kandi of Asheville, N.C.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceeded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters; wife, Cleo; and son, Richard.
Memorials are preferred to the Truman Historical Society or Martin County Genealogical Society.
