She was born Nov. 2, 1943, in Winnebago, Minn., the daughter of Earl and Jessie (Dennis) Pettit. She graduated from Winnebago High School in 1961. She married Randy L. Fuchs Nov. 17, 1973, in Winnebago. Joyce spent most of her life helping her husband with the work on their dairy farm. She helped with bailing hay, walking beans, lawn care, house work and three meals a day for her family. Sundays were family days and most of all she enjoyed spending time with them. The past 10 years, Joyce and Randy had many adventures away from the farm, visiting friends, sightseeing and shopping. Together, they rode on the Harley or in the Mustang wherever the road would take them.
