TRUMAN – Funeral services for Esther Lewis, 94, of Truman, Minn., formerly of Lewisville, Minn., will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, at Zion Lutheran Church, Lewisville, with Rev. Brian Thorson officiating. Interment will be held in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, rural Truman.
Esther died on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at Truman Senior Living. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service of Truman and one hour prior to services Sunday at the church.
Esther is survived by five daughters and sons-in-law, Barb Jones (Ernie) of Truman, Judy Pitcher (Tom) of Mosinee, Wis., Sandy LeTourneau (Tom) of Beaumont, Texas, Carmen Reckard (Steve) of Truman, and Colleen Lewis (Stan Komendowski) of Hillpoint, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Leslie Lewis and his wife Gladys of Lewisville; three sisters, Phyllis Lewis of Berkeley, Calif., Lillian Kuhlman of Lewisville, Minn., and Ruth Ann Shaw of Mansfield, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Mollie Kuhlman of Winthrop, Minn., and Sussie Kuhlman of St. James, Minn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; grandson, Mark Roberts; two sisters, Marilyn Wengert and Marjory Dewar; three brothers, Merrill Kuhlman, Roy Kuhlman and Willis Kuhlman; three brothers-in-law, George Wengert, Malcolm Dewar, and James Lewis; one sister-in-law, Betty Lewis.
