Brandon William Rider
FAIRMONT – Funeral services for Brandon William Rider, 39, of Fairmont, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at Salvation Army Church, 114 E. Blue Earth Ave., Fairmont.
Brandon passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 14, 2013, surrounded by loved ones at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn. He had suffered yet another heart attack and, after holding on for six hours like a true fighter, his last battle was lost.
Brandon was born Jan. 3, 1974, in Indianapolis, Ind. Later in life, he came to live in Minnesota. Brandon was so full of life. He was an amazing man that had a heart of gold and everyone who knew him would agree. People who knew him either loved him or hated him. He had the greatest sense of humor. He always made people laugh and loved to joke around. He loved all kinds of music and knew every song. He enjoyed camping, fishing, shopping and taking care of his loved ones. He had an adventurous spirit and loved to try new things.
Brandon is survived by his fiancee, Krystal Rose Brown of Fairmont; his stepson, Evan Sukalski; his best friend, Heather Marie Trembly of Iowa; his beautiful daughter whom he missed so much, Corinne Capodagli; his mother and stepfather, Jackie and Donald Brewster; his father, William Rider of Arizona; his grandmother and grandfather, Nancy “GG” and Roy Lockhart; his brother, Brian Rider of Illinois; his sister, Robyn Rider of Indiana; his honorary brothers, Dilen Rippentrop and Trevor Hovland, both of Albert Lea, Minn., Colter Petersen and Michael Thomas, both of Fairmont; “Mama-san,” Paula Petersen of Fairmont; and many, many friends.
