Time for Rotary’s sale

To the Editor:

With the falling of the leaves comes time for the Rotary Book Sale (now called the pre-owned multi-media sale). We are once again at Five Lakes Centre in Fairmont. This year, due to the success of the mall, we will be located in the space in front of JCPenney. Drop off will begin at noon Nov. 22 and continue through the weekend. As in the past, it will remain open but unmanned through the Christmas season for your convenience.

Though our main attraction has been and continues to be used books, we will accept any type of multi-media. Tapes, both audio and video, records, CDs, DVDs, any type of information transfer.

We would request once again that no encyclopedias; National Geographic or other magazines; blank tapes; or severely damaged items be dropped off as we end up throwing out most of these items.

An area will be roped off Monday, Nov. 4, and tables will be available for your items.

We thank you for your past and future participation in this fundraiser. Because of your efforts, nearly $5,000 was raised last year that was recirculated back into our community for charitable programs.

Thanks again, and we look forward to your continued patronage.
