Deanna Ellen (Gould) Mosley was born April 27, 1937, in Red Wing, Minn., the daughter of Everett and Virginia (Johnson) Gould. As a young girl, Deanna moved with her family to Mankato where she attended school and graduated in 1956 from Mankato West High School. On Nov. 22, 1958, Deanna was united in marriage to David L. Mosley at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Mankato. Together, the couple made their homes in Jackson, Granada, Welcome and Fairmont and were blessed with four daughters, Jolie, Jean, Jaye Ann and Jaime Jo. Deanna worked as a Home Health Aide for 12 years and also sold insurance before becoming an owner and operator of D & D’s Bar and the Redneck Bar. In her spare time, Deanna enjoyed golfing, bowling and cheering on the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. In her older years, Deanna looked forward to trips with family and friends to the casinos. She was a member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church, as well as an active member of the Fairmont Eagles Club. Deanna will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren for the handfuls of Tootsie Rolls they received when they came to visit her and will be greatly missed by those who loved her and called her friend.
