No. 6 Luverne serves loss to FHS
LUVERNE – Sterlin Johnson and Tyler Head combined court skills at No. 2 doubles to help Fairmont avert a shutout at the rackets of Class A, No. 6-ranked Luverne during non-league tennis action Saturday in Luverne.
Sterlin Johnson and Head outlasted Luverne’s Ethan Johnson and Zach Gillette in the opening set, 6-4, before the hometown Cardinals’ tandem rallied to claim the second segment, 6-2.
