Raymond L. Bunderle

JACKSON – Services for Raymond L. Bunderle, 84, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, formerly of Jackson, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Jackson. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery, Jackson.

Bunderle died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Hilltop Care Center in Spirit Lake. Visitation will be 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the church, and one hour prior to services Saturday, also at the church.

Osterberg Funeral Home in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.

Raymond Leo Bunderle was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Jackson, Minn., son of William and Frances (Drahota) Bunderle. He served in the U.S. Army and was a sharpshooter for Artillery Battery B in Korea during the Bloody Ridge Campaign. He was honorably discharged.

Survivors include: sons, Daniel Bunderle of Unionville, Ind., Mitchell Bunderle of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughters, Linda Rae Bennett of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Dedra Duin of Jackson, Minn.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Wilson of Bellevue, Wash., and Ellen Kalvig of Shoreline, Wash.
