WESTMINSTER, Colo. – Celebration of Life services for Dustin Goossen, 31, of Westminster, Colo., will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at The Rail Yard Bar and Grill in Trimont, Minn.
Dustin passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 23, 2013, at his home.
He was born Aug. 29, 1981, in Fairmont Minn., the son of Randall and Margaret Goossen. Dustin attended Lakewood High School. At the time of his death, Dustin worked as a security officer at Alliance Data in Westminster, Colo. Dustin is remembered for being an amazing, loving, and thoughtful son; an irreplaceable brother, uncle, cousin, nephew; and true friend who spoke directly from his heart. He was loyal to all those that he loved and he could always be counted on to be there to help out and always have your back. He was always good for a laugh and to spend time with. His smile, his love for MMA fights, video games, as well as his stories of skate boarding injuries and life lessons will sorrowfully be missed. The world is a much dimmer place without our Dustin.
He is survived by his parents, Randall and Margaret Goossen of North Glenn, Col.; grandmother, Eva Goossen of Trimont, Minn.; brother, Jason (Kathy) Mau of Truman, Minn.; sister, Kristy (Brian) Palacios of North Glenn, Col.; and many other friends and relatives.
Dustin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jonas Goossen; his uncle, Tom Goossen; and his aunt, Joanne Sandmeyer.
