BLUE EARTH – Marjorie Joyce (Ihle) Bengtson, age 83, of Blue Earth, passed away, Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Care Center.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at First Baptist Church in Blue Earth, with Rev. Joel DeNeui officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Elmore, Minn., at a later date. Visitation time will be 3-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Spencer-Owen Funeral Home, 345 Sixth Ave. SE in Winnebago, Minn., and one hour before the service at the church.

She was born Feb. 15, 1929, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Harry and Irene (Champ) Heldt.

She is survived by her son, Lyle Ihle of Elmore; her daughter, Diane Frey of Athol, Mass., daughter, DeDe Preston (Allan Hummell) of Delano, Minn.; her daughter-in-law, Kathy Ihle of Burnsville, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Sharon Heldt of Brooklyn Center, Minn., Betty Heldt of Bloomington, Minn., Arlene Holm of Blue Earth, and Shirley Ihle of Blue Earth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Ihle and George Bengtson; sons, Marlin Ihle and Dennis Ihle; son-in-law, Brian Frey; her parents; and brothers, James Heldt and William Heldt.
